Believe it or not, men are also clutched by depression. The scientists have put this revelation under light. We often believe that men are not bound in the strands of depression. However, this is not the case. Dr. Ladson Hinton avers in this connection that men tend to experience and express their depression differently from women.

This new research states that because men are regarded as having iron will and determination that compel them to conceal the real state of their mind and as a result, the depression gets more and more entrenched. Whereas women weep, sigh to give went to their grief. On the other hand, men indulge in escapade, shows anger.

Another thing that came to the surface in this research is that older men show more tendencies to conceal their depression. This study also brought out a fact that men think more about committing suicide than women.
