A recent research conducted by the Queen’s Psychology Department, showed that people suffering from mild depression could be more sensitive to their social set up than the normal ones. Mildly depression leads people to feel helplessness about their current situation. Mild depression shows symptoms of irritability and reduced motivation and until date, this form of depression was going undiagnosed. However, the recent discovery will help the psychologist to identify the kind of depression and treat it at its earliest stage. Natural therapies such as St John’s Wart may also be effective treatments for depression if it is diagnosed early – when ‘mild’.
