Learning to differentiate between depression and sadness

To differentiate between sadness and depression is really a tough act for everyone. Dr. John Draper a psychologist with the Mental Health Association of New York City says about some distinctions between both. The person saying, ‘he is living a bad day’ is termed as sadness. However, the person saying, ‘he is living bad life’ may be termed as depression. If anybody feels hopelessness or dejection for more than two weeks, he should consult medical help. The most important thing to know by depression patients that depression is definitely treatable. The Mental Health Association New York City controls private hotline. The best way to get rid of depression is early detection and immediate access of medical or psychological assistance.
