Even mild stress may increase the risk of depression again if a person had previous history of depression. There are number of cases where patients, eventually relapse after recovering from depression.
Zindel V. Segal of University of Toronto and Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, Ontario, said, the study clearly given the signs that even a serene negative mood may put back some the features observed in depression itself in the people with a history of depression.
The management of depression may concentrate to help avoid relapse in future. The best way for that is to make the patients aware about the factors, which may manipulate their thinking.
