sad-girl1_64Children who show early signs of depression are more likely to move to drinking habit, a new study has come up with this finding after studying about 1119 children who never drank alcohol before the beginning of this study.

But as the time moved on some of these children started drinking alcohol and finally researchers concluded that whereas the percentage of drinking children with fewer depressive symptoms was just 4.1., the percentage of drinking children with higher depressive symptoms reached 14.1. This clearly shows that children with symptoms of depression are more likely to move to drinking, if compared with the children with no depression symptoms.

This finding is really interesting but I think researchers must go deeper into the whole concept in order to come up with conclusions that are more concrete.
