College expelling suicidal students? What a shame!

It’s bizzare to know that colleges are now expelling the students who tried to commit suicide, instead of getting them out of the maze. As per an estimate, the number of suicidal students has rise to 1,100 a year. To curb suicidal attempts, colleges have made several policies to bar the suicidal students. These policies deny the students from residential accommodations to avail, discouraging the students to get help which they really need. As conflicted by the judges that it is the duty of college to prevent suicide if the risk was foreseeable, sometimes colleges are so combative that they send troubled pupil home. I think, the problem could not be solved by barring the depressed students but a college must sort out the problem with the help of counselors and a psychiatrist, besides parents.
