NHS Lothian and Edinburgh University and mental health charity Depression Alliance have come together to make people aware about the implications of depression. The fundamental message of this campaign is
Mother, father, son daughter...is that depression can affect anyone at any time.
Posters bearing such messages can easily be seen worn by buses and hoardings in most of the surroundings of Edinburgh.
According to a survey, every one of the five persons is clutched under the talon of depression. However, it would also not be wrong to say that most of the people do not admit easily that they are passing through the phase of depression, which often results in serious consequences.
The fundamental aim of this campaign is to encourage people to move peaceful and happy life and to come forward to take assistance of doctors if they find themselves clutched by depression.
